Magdalena Steers Wins First Place at 1A State Track and Field Championships

The Magdalena Steers placed first at the 1A State Track and Field Championships on June 17 in Albuquerque.

The Magdalena Steers won the 1A State Track and Field Championships with 69 points on June 17 at the UNM Track Complex. The Lady Steers placed 17th with four points.

Magdalena’s D’Shaun Vinyard was named highlight of the 1A Championships and placed first in the 400m, 200m and high jump.
