Man City are still £ 50million away from Tottenham’s Harry Kane assessment as the forward travels with the squad for Wolves’ Premier League clash
The transfer window closes in nine days and there is no significant breakthrough in Harry Kane’s desired move to Man City yet.
Kane has made it clear his wish to leave Tottenham this summer and join the Premier League champions.
He is said to be unhappy with the lack of trophies the club have won and their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has resisted the sale of their star man to a Premier League rival.
City reportedly made a £ 100million offer earlier this summer and are said to be ready to include a player as part of the deal.
The mirror report that City have yet to improve on this offer and that £ 50million is still missing from the £ 150million the club want for the England captain.
The report also adds that Levy doesn’t want a player included in the deal.
Time is running out for the deal to be struck with the transfer window being abruptly closed on August 31.
Kane has yet to play for Spurs this season after returning from vacation after Euro 2020.
He was not part of the squad that beat Man City last weekend, nor of the squad that lost in the Europa Conference League.
The 28-year-old is said to have traveled with the squad ahead of their Premier League clash with Wolves on Sunday.
