‘Running Man’ booth invites Los Angeles fans to join in the fun
Running Man is the name of the popular Korean reality TV show which stars Yu Jae Seok, Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Jee Seok Jin, Song Ji Hyo, Jeon So Min, and Yang Se Chan. In each episode, participants must complete missions in various locations to win the race. Each mission features members trying to fight using their wits and skills.
Attempting these fun missions requires knowledge and physical strength. Sometimes participants work as a team and cooperate for a common goal. Other times they betray themselves throughout the race in order to gain all the honor and glory for themselves.
Building on its global success, Running Man welcomed appearances from international stars such as Jackie Chan (episode 135), Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill (episode 410) and Ryan Reynolds (episode 482), as well as K-pop stars including BTS. The show has helped many of its stars gain international popularity.
Korean content broadcaster KOCOWA and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), a South Korean government agency that promotes Korean content, have teamed up to host a themed booth. Running Man and fan-favorite k-dramas at KCON LA, August 19-21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
At the booth, fans will be able to play games from the series and insert themselves into their favorite k-dramas, posing with k-drama characters, and possibly a star or idol who will stop by the booth for Pictures.
KOCOWA is a joint venture between wavve Americas (wA) and the three major Korean broadcasters KBS, MBC and SBS, as well as SK Telecom. Running Man the episodes can be seen on the KOCOWA streaming platform.
