A look at what’s going on at Cleveland State Athletics…
-The Vikings (19-7, 15-4) will finish the regular season on the road this week, traveling to Detroit Mercy on Thursday, Feb. 24 and Oakland on Saturday, Feb. 26.
-Last time out, Cleveland State had a pair of wins at Milwaukee and Green Bay, capturing at least a share of the Horizon League regular season title.
-The Vikings have also locked down the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Horizon League tournament and will begin play by holding a quarter-final contest on Thursday, March 3.
-Cleveland State (17-6, 12-5) will have a busy time to close out the regular season this week, traveling to Detroit Mercy on Monday, February 21 before hosting Milwaukee (Thursday, February 24) and Green Bay (Saturday, February 24 ). February 26).

-Cleveland State will be one of 16 teams competing at Wexford Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC

Daniel Bucknavich, Wrestling
Sealed Cleveland State’s victory over George Mason with a pin (3:07) in their game at 285 pounds, helping the Vikings earn their fifth MAC victory of the 2022 campaign.
Destiny Leo, Women’s Basketball
Averaged 23.0 points per game in a pair of wins at Oakland and Detroit Mercy, scoring consecutive 20-point games. Shot 50% from the floor, while averaging 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Helped the Vikings climb to fourth in the #HLWBB standings.
Tre Gomillion, men’s basketball
Helped the Vikings capture the No. 1 seed in the upcoming #HLMBB tournament with back-to-back 20-point games in Milwaukee and Green Bay. Shot 81% over the weekend, including an .846 clip at Green Bay (11 for 13), finishing with 27 points against the Phoenix, helping Cleveland State capture at least a share of the regular-season title.
