Athletics stars are known for their incredible work ethic. University of Georgia track star Matthew Boling is no exception.
In the latest episode of “No Days Off” from The Whistle, Matthew Boling gives us a front row spot in what it takes to become a track star. Spoiler alert: it takes serious dedication. Boling is constantly trying to beat his personal bests on the track while balancing school, social life, and making the right food and wellness decisions so that he can be the best version of himself. on the track.
Boling started competitively running in sixth grade and says track and field was the first sport he was good at right away. He stuck to it, stayed in his lane, and never looked back.
From its humble beginnings, Boling has added some serious hardware to its trophy rack. These include winning four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Under-20 Championships in San Jose and the 2021 NCAA Outdoor First Team All-Star in the 100m, 200m and 400X100 relay. However, Boling says the ultimate goal is to become an Olympian.
