WOW, ZOE! | Former LOC Standout KHS Athlete of the Week | Sports

Zoe Craven, a Northeast Texas Community College women’s soccer athlete and student sports coach, was named Longview Orthopedic Clinic Athlete of the Week this week.

Craven is a former cross-country runner and football star at Kilgore High School, where she helped the Lady Bulldogs achieve success in both sports.

Zoe is now a freshman midfielder for the NTCC women’s soccer team and an athletic training student in the NTCC athletic training program. Zoe is a human performance major and has excelled on and off the court. In addition to her soccer skills, Zoe achieved a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester while participating in the Eagle Soccer program.

“Zoe is one of the first to come into training and one of the last to leave and consistently puts the needs of the team ahead of her own,” coach Zane Barnes said.

The Longview Orthopedic Clinic has been recognizing athletes from across East Texas for a year. Candidates must be a person of integrity, maintain good grades, and contribute significantly to the success of their team.
